An Indian delegation led by Textile Minister Shankar Singh Vaghela arrived in Uzbekistan on 26 March.

The delegation entered Tashkent from Kazakhstan by road and was received by Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Skand Ranjan Tayal.

Asia Pulse reported that Vaghela will visit a textile factory in Uzbekistan, run by Indian company in Uzbekistan. Indian Spentex acquired Uzbek factory for US$81 million in 2006.

After a visit to the factory the delegation will go back to Kazakhstan, sources said.
